Senior software engineers
Backend, frontend, full-stack, mobile. Five to twelve years in the same stack your team already runs.
Vetted nearshore engineers, designers, and specialists embedded into your stack and your stand-ups. No offshore handoff cycle. No multi-year lock-in.
US hiring takes a quarter. Offshore costs you a day on every back-and-forth. Staff augmentation from Mexico closes both gaps in the same week.
Same operating discipline Grupo Open has run since 1995 — now pointed at US enterprise teams a few hours' flight away. You sign a US contract. We absorb the rest.
Engineers placed because they match the work — drawn from the same pool that staffs Heineken, FEMSA, and Whirlpool engagements. Roles we routinely place:
Backend, frontend, full-stack, mobile. Five to twelve years in the same stack your team already runs.
Azure and AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, FinOps. Microsoft Solutions Partner. AWS Advanced Partner.
Data engineering, analytics, applied ML and LLM work. Production deployments on Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake.
Embedded TA professionals who scale your in-house pipeline — they don't replace it.
Product designers, researchers, UX writers. English-fluent, embedded with engineering — not parachuted in for a deck.
Test automation, performance engineering, on-call SREs integrating with your existing pager rotation and runbooks.
Four steps, in order, with a person owning each one. Same playbook whether you need one senior engineer or a six-person squad.
If a step is going slow, you'll hear from us before the deadline — not after.
A 30-minute call about the system, the team, and what good looks like in 90 days. No intake-form theater.
Vetted shortlist of three — with code samples, references you can call, and a written take on your problem.
Scoped first week with clear deliverables. Wrong fit? We replace at our cost — no hours billed.
Month-to-month from there. Reviews, retention, time-off — handled by us. You get the engineer you hired.
Closer than offshore. Calmer than in-house. Sharper than a vendor. That's the entire pitch.
Mexico hours overlap entirely with US working hours. Stand-ups happen in real time. No offshore "we'll catch up tomorrow" cycle.
Engineers placed because they fit the work — not because they were the next name on the bench. Every placement starts with a written fit memo.
You sign with a US entity, in US jurisdiction. We absorb Mexican labor, tax, and HR complexity — including USA Corporate Insurance for general, professional, cyber, and crime liability.
Backed by Grupo Open's track record across managed help desk, datacenter, application support, and software development for Mexican enterprise customers since 1995.
They placed three senior engineers in our stack inside two weeks. First production commit was on day nine. None of them have rotated off in eighteen months.
The same six we hear every week. If yours isn't here, the discovery call answers it in fifteen minutes.
Staff augmentation places individual engineers inside your team — your stand-ups, your repo, your roadmap, your call on what they ship. Outsourcing transfers ownership of a project or function to a third party who runs it independently. Managed services are recurring operations under SLA.
Most teams choose staff aug when the work needs internal context and the bottleneck is people, not process. We'll say so on the discovery call if a different shape fits better.
Mexican working hours overlap entirely with every US time zone. Stand-ups happen at 9 a.m. Pacific or 10 a.m. Eastern — not at 11 p.m. for one side. Cultural overlap is closer too: same continent, mostly the same holidays, frequent direct flights.
The practical difference shows up in velocity. Async handoff cycles disappear. A code-review comment doesn't sit overnight.
You tell us, and we replace at our cost. No hours billed during the transition, no minimum-tenure clause. If something's slipping inside the first week, raise it — we'd rather rotate than carry a bad fit.
Engagements are month-to-month, with thirty days' notice either direction. No long contracts to escape.
Yes — conversion paths are part of the standard engagement. After twelve months a direct hire carries no conversion fee. Earlier conversions are pro-rated and disclosed in the MSA.

Monthly retainer per engineer, billed in USD against a US entity. Rate is flat for the seniority band and disclosed in the proposal — no overtime, no markups on travel, no separate "management fee."
Hourly arrangements exist for specialty work under twenty hours a week. Both are quoted on the discovery call.
Equipment, software licenses, and home-office setup are ours. US travel for on-sites is arranged through Near Contact and billed at cost — no markup. Most engineers hold B1/B2 visas; we'll flag any exceptions before placement.
Insurance is included: USA Corporate Insurance covering general, professional, cyber, and crime liability.
A 15-minute call gets you a written shortlist of three engineers in 48 hours. If we're not the right call, we'll point you to who is.
